Soaring indoor ropes courses, brightly-colored bumper cars, and new shaded sports courts—these are some of the newest activities our campers got to experience this past summer! While we’re certainly thrilled about these new additions and upgrades, we’re MOST excited about the spaces and opportunities they provide for our staffers to share the Gospel with campers. Take a look at a few of the recent changes we’ve made, then pray for us as we push forward on some additional progress that you’ll get to see next summer!
All summer long, Ranch campers enjoyed flying their way down our brand-new 200-foot slip-n-slide! And we didn’t just make the slide itself. We also made a huge hill to put it on—now the tallest point at camp! Our campers loved this exhilarating and refreshing opportunity to slide and glide their way to adventure.
Outdoor activities at the Bluffs got a big upgrade this summer with the addition of an awesome new shaded sports court! Perfect for everything from basketball and pickleball to the most out-of-the-box games our counselors can imagine, family campers now have it made in the shade!
There’s no better place to tee off than at one of our new miniature golf courses at Crier Creek and Chimney Point! With twelve holes each, these seriously fun golf greens offer an awesome opportunity for families and staffers to hit the links and connect over a little comp-etition! (Comp-comp-etition!)
The next time you’re in the Outback dining hall, look up—we’ve brought the adventure of camp straight into the middle of the (air conditioned) action! Campers got to traverse a high ropes obstacle course suspended right over the very tables where they enjoy their meals. Talk about serious fun!
On your mark, get set… BUMP! Careening into the Towers for the first time ever, our East Texas elementary campers had a blast driving around our newly converted barn in eight shiny, Disney-level bumper cars. This shady spot is the perfect location for campers to buddy up and take a spin!
