Jordy came to camp for the first time in the summer of 2010 as a counselor at the Shores. He worked three summers as a Shores counselor and senior counselor and Camp in the City program director. He then served full-time 2012-2015 after finishing his last semester at an internship with Duke University in North Carolina. He graduated from LSU (Geaux Tigers!) with a degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in Fitness Studies. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is passionate about seeing the gospel of Jesus Christ transform the lives of kids and adults alike.
In 2010, Pine Cove started a traveling day camp that partnered with churches to bring a high-energy program to neighborhoods across the South.
