City is Happening!

Pine Cove City is in full swing and ready to bring some serious fun to YOUR neighborhood! Get the scoop on this summer’s activity classes, theme days, and hear from our site directors! 

Day In The Life 

Each day at Pine Cove City is jam-packed with a whole lot of serious fun, and this summer is no different! Campers everywhere have already beat their fastest time going down the water slide, discovered how to do a backflip on the bungee trampoline, and made it to the top of the climbing wall! Take a look at some of these in action, and check out more about each activity here!

Where Are They This Summer?

Throughout the summer, Pine Cove City will be gauntleting at 88 different locations across six different states! This week alone, we have staffers jumping in College Station TX, McKinney, TX, Franklin, TN, Hazel Green, AL, Webster, TX, Waco, TX, Newnan, GA, Highland Village, TX, and Dallas, TX! Did someone say road trip? City staffers everywhere become pros at discovering the best road trip snacks, and have all of the best pass-time games up their sleeves. Some of their favorites? Lots of trivia, the alphabet game, and a personal favorite of our southeast teams: the “Cow Game.” While traveling, whichever staffers sees a pasture of cows first claims it by saying, “My cows.” If they later pass by a church, the cows are multiplied! But if they pass by a body of water or an Arby’s, the cows might drown or be taken to the butcher! That’s a sure way to keep your eyes on the road! All of those games are sure to make the staffers hungry, so they have their favorite snacks on stand by. Site director Samuel “Coolie-B” Malouf says his go-to snack is a bag of Chex Mix and a Propel, Sydney “Vibe” Batten always goes with a bag of Hot Cheeto Munchies paired with a Red Bull, and Noah “Beef” White’s favorite is a Reese’s Fast Break with a Bodyarmor Sports Drink! 

Theme Days 

Because costumes are way too fun to just be for Halloween! Pine Cove City theme days add even more fun to the schedule. This summer you can catch our staffers and campers dressed in their tropical best for Splish Splash Hawaiian Bash, or see what they want to be when they grow up through their outfits on Career Day!

God’s Faithfulness at Each Location

The Father continues to be glorified each day at each location for Pine Cove City. Families are connected with local churches for potentially the first time, campers are taught about the Savior who loved them enough to die for their sins, and scripture is being proclaimed and heard throughout the day.

Seeing the Lord work in real time within our team has been so cool. He is a faithful Father who loves us so much. I’ve heard so many of them talk about how they’ve been able to learn just as much about the Lord’s character from their own campers as the campers have from them!
