The first half of summer was amazing—exciting theme nights, new activity classes AND facilities, and life-changing time in God’s Word. Check out some highlights and stories from the past few weeks as we jump into the second half!

Camps stepped up their games with these awesome theme nights and events!

“After weeks of being quarantined, it was so refreshing to be with other believers, worship together, and hear rich teaching. We were challenged and encouraged in our relationship with Jesus this week.”
– Chimney Point family

The Shores had a TikTok video that went viral!

Here’s a look at a few brand-new activities.

One of our new favorite dance songs!

“I learned a couple things: 1) Jesus didn’t only die on the cross for our sins but opened a doorway for a relationship. 2) That song we were singing (‘…even when I can’t see it, You’re working…’) related to me a couple weeks ago when my house burned down. I realized He’s still working for our good.”
– Ranch Camper

A favorite at Club this summer!

See what new facilities we’re excited for this summer.

“A camper was just confused and unsure about God. Thursday, the campers gathered around him. Camper said “I felt the Lord tonight but I don’t want it to just last a week. I want this to last forever. I’m not sure my dad believes. I want to go back and do a Bible study with my dad.” I had a similar story with my dad. So if this camper does this, God won’t have changed just a camper’s life, but a family’s life.”
– Timbers Staffer

The Woods (and a couple other camps) did a “silent disco.” Here’s a look, courtesy of Lexus “Sparkles” DeLoach!

Another Club song that we can’t stop singing.

“We dropped off our son at the Towers yesterday. It being only the second week of camp, we were amazed at the new processes put into place in an effort to keep campers, staff and families safe. Everything went so smoothly. I will not deny that we missed going into the cabin with our son and will also miss the usual closing celebration but are happy to concede those things in order to allow camp to happen. These children need camp! They need the peace, love and encouragement that they will receive this week. They need to worship and have Bible study with others and we are so grateful for Pine Cove! We are praying for the safety and health for all of Pine Cove, each member of staff and every child that comes through that gate! Yes, COVID is real, but God is Greater!”
