Men’s Conference 2016

“I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity in my house…”

On the weekend of January 27-29, over 400 men from multiple churches, small groups, families, and communities gathered at Pine Cove’s Shores and Timbers camps. Getting to be a part of this weekend is one of the greatest joys in my job. There is nothing in the world like 400 plus men singing to our great God!

Michael Easley, from Fellowship Bible Church in Nashville, Tennessee was our speaker this year. He talked about “Reclaiming Manhood”. His messages challenged us all to be a man of high integrity and character.

We were also blessed to have Darin Kinder speak to us this year. Darin Kinder is a United States Secret Service agent. He spoke to us about his time at the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. It was incredibly powerful getting to hear a first hand experience of someone who was there that day. Darin continually pointed us back to the Gospel as he relived those moments in front of the men. Many of our attendees ask if we record the breakout sessions, and we definitely do! For those that attended but didn’t get to hear all of them, they are available below. This year, we had lots of activities for the men to do, including the classic Car Smash. It is so great getting to see the men have so much fun playing sports and having a great time with each other. Click here to see all of the pictures from this weekend.
