It is our greatest pleasure to introduce you to the newest additions to our Pine Cove program staff! They’ve traveled from all over to join our Towers, Outback, Ridge, City, and Chimney Point teams. They’re sharing their seriously fun stories of how they got their camp names, some of their favorite things, and their passion for sharing the Gospel with staff and campers alike. We can’t wait for you to meet them!

Josiah Dombach

Towers Men’s Director
Get to know the new Towers Men’s Director, “Stonk Stonk,” who hails from Texas A&M (Whoop!). Josiah studied economics, which is where the first half of his camp name comes from (stocks), paired with a car accident story (honk honk). He’s a big fan of playing pickleball with his wife and friends or taking a sunset walk. Josiah’s ideal setup would be listening to Hippo Campus’ new album while drinking a cup of flavorful black coffee, and wearing his favorite hat. He’s beyond excited to see how the Gospel transforms the lives of the staff and campers he’ll be leading this summer and to watch people grow in their daily walk with Jesus beyond camp!

Kate Swanner

Outback Women’s Director
Introducing Kate Swanner, the Baylor graduate whose camp name “Bone AppleTeeth” was inspired by a series of hilarious stories. From breaking her collarbone to losing a tooth in an apple and singing “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth” in a giant tooth costume, Kate’s name is as unique as she is. She never expected to be here, but Kate’s excited about how God has led her to Pine Cove. She’s passionate about working with college-aged girls and empowering them for a lifetime of ministry, and she can’t wait to dive into her role!

Seth Tunstall

Outback Men’s Director
Meet “Alabamer Charmander!” His camp name stems from his love of the Pokémon Charmander and a healthy dose of Alabama pride, which shone through thanks to his Southern accent during the name game. Seth is an avid golfer and loves watching a good movie with his wife Julie (bonus points if it’s Nacho Libre). He’s a big fan of a good medium rare steak and Julie’s homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls, but if it’s drive-through, a Whataburger patty melt hits the spot! Most of all, he’s excited to see how God will bring life change to campers and college students this summer and how the ministry will continue to bring glory to the Lord!

Olivia Skeeter

Ridge Women’s Director
Meet “Sinking Out Cloud!” When she’s not busy being the Ridge Women’s Director, you’ll likely find her thrifting, sewing, or enjoying a good walk outside. Hot chocolate is her go-to drink (year-round!), and she loves card games, sports, and anything green. Her camp name comes from a funny mix of her love for Ed Sheeran and her famously sweaty hands during the first time she slow danced (set to the song “Thinking Out Loud”). The “sinking” part is inspired by her recurring dream of sinking in the ocean and chatting with fish, and the “cloud” nods to her time spent living in Africa, traveling above the clouds. Olivia’s beyond excited to continue building meaningful relationships with the staff and campers, all while learning more about God’s gentle care—and sharing plenty of laughs along the way!
