The Forge: Pine Cove’s Discipleship Program

Summer is here and the excitement of campers being back at Pine Cove for another transforming week of camp is in the air. We are looking forward to all that God wants to accomplish this summer. In addition to the ongoing summer ministries of our camps, many people might not realize that Pine Cove is also preparing to welcome its ninth class of the Forge this fall. The Forge is a discipleship program for our college-aged staff designed to develop followers and prepare leaders for a lifetime of good works.

As the video above illustrates, the Forge is an environment where students have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of leadership while also honing their understanding of how God has designed each of them. For eight months, twenty-eight students from all over the country will live, serve, learn, and travel together in a tight-knit community.
