We don’t know about you, but we’re getting excited about family camp this summer! The registration department is already preparing for you! For those who are getting a jumpstart, like us, on organizing your summer plans or planning your best theme night attire, we thought we’d put together a list of common questions regarding family camp.

1. What are the differences between the three family camps?

The biggest difference between the three family camps is the location. The Bluffs and Woods are in Tyler, Texas and Crier Creek is located in Columbus, Texas. We have the same great staff and programming at each location!

Woods Details

  • Facilitates about 40 families
  • Small lake on property
  • Original Pine Cove property

Bluffs Details

  • Facilitates 26 families
  • Overlooks Lake Palestine
  • NEW jumping pillow

Crier Creek Details

  • Facilitates 25 families
  • Two bodies of water on property
  • NEW swimming pool and wake park

2. Can I register and fill out my forms online?

For the first year ever, you are able to fill out your required family camp forms online! Click here to access the forms. To register for family camp, or acquire your username and password, call our office at 877-474-6326.

3. What does a daily schedule look like at Family Camp?

At camp, we strive to offer a balance of rest and quality time for the parents, a blast of activities and awesome programming for the kids, and solid, intentional family fun together! Check out some sample schedules for the Bluffs, Woods, and Crier Creek.

4. How old do your kids have to be to enjoy camp?

Family camp is for campers of all ages. We have counselors ready to be intentional with each age group of campers from the infant to adult.

5. Do we share a cabin with another family?

At all three of our camps, each family has their own cabin unit. At the Woods we have motel and fourplex units, at the Bluffs we have duplex-style units, and Crier Creek has duplex and stand-alone style units.

6. What is covered in the cost of camp?

The cost of family is all-inclusive, so it covers lodging, food and activities, however; there are optional amenities that require additional money such as: golf for men, arts and crafts, camp store purchases, the coffee shop, and laundry.

7. What are theme nights? Do adults participate?

Theme nights are a great way to create fun and promote unity in families. Each night, the staff and families will dress up according to the themes established for each camp. Here are the themes for Bluffs, Woods, and Crier Creek.

8. What if the week I want is full?

If the preferred week you’d like to register for this summer is full, we recommend you add your family to a wait list and we will contact you if an opening becomes available. There is no cost to adding your family to a wait list.
