Women’s Conference 2017

What a blessing it was to have so many women come to the Shores March 3-5 for our annual Women’s Conference! It was an incredible weekend getting to see ladies laugh together, worship together, and rest together.

Carrie Langemeier, the wife of our Chief Ministry Officer Craig “Dutch” Langemeier, was our speaker for the weekend. Carrie encouraged us through stories and scripture to “live loved”. She also gave a powerful message on forgiveness and what it looks like to fall forward into the arms of Jesus in the midst of failure. Please enjoy these audio recordings from the conference:

We were so thankful to have Michelle Ellis and her band lead us in worship. Their talent and heart for Jesus was such a blessing to help prepare hearts to connect with our Creator. We also had five amazing women lead break out sessions for us on a variety of topics. Everyone had the opportunity to attend two of the sessions on Saturday morning, but now they are all available below.

Tammy Hayes “Adoration is God’s Alone” (download session 1) (download session 2)
Olga Zapolske “Renew” (download session 1) (download session 2)
Maranatha Chapman “Passion and Purpose” (download session 1)
Erin Harris “The Gospel in Proverbs 31” (download session 1)
Millie Tanner “Rest” (download session 1) (download session 2)

Melissa Radke joined us as well and provided us with some much-needed truth and laughter. She shared her rich testimony and challenged us all to know who we are and live out of our identity in Christ. If you missed out or just miss hearing her stories then you can see any of her videos on her Facebook page.

That line up is going to be hard to beat, but we are so excited about what is coming next year! Sharon Jaynes is our keynote speaker for 2018. Sharon is the author of many books and the co-founder of Girlfriends in God, Inc. But despite all of her accomplishments she is approachable and claims to be just a “simple gal” who “loves the beach, drinks too much sweet tea and is still crazy about her husband after thirty-three years.” Check out her website and bio for more information.

Over the weekend, we were able to spend time together doing all sorts of different activities like Ziplining, Bible Journaling, Cookie Decorating, Horseback Riding, Massages, and much more. Here are a few of the many smiles from the weekend: Women’s Conference 2017 Photos

Thanks again to all of you who came and for those of you who couldn’t make it, we would love to have you out next year!

God bless, and continue to “live loved.”
